Biographic Introduction
Born in Long Beach California in 1961, Mark has lived in more than seven states in his 50 years, finally settling in Middle Tennessee in 1979. He has resided in LaVergne Tennessee for the last twenty-five years. Mark has been active in his community in both the Boy Scouts and local politics. Mark was elected to the LaVergne Board of Mayor and Alderman in 1992 and re-elected in 1995. He served as Vice Mayor from 1998 until leaving office in 1999.

Soon after arriving in Tennessee, Mark went to work at a local telecommunications engineering firm. It was at this firm that Mark discovered his true vocational passion while writing computer software to calculate cellular radio propagation patterns. He has worked in software development ever since. Mark has worked with over a dozen computer languages since 1982 and is firmly convinced he could develop an application with an Etch-O-Sketch if required.

Not sure if he was born a century to late or century to early, Mark is content spending his weekdays writing software applications and his weekends hunting, fishing and photographing wildlife. He is quite happy with the balance between muddy boots and a glowing computer screen.
